ZZ: Hey mom, I put on my hat and shoes and backpack too.
Me: I see that.
ZZ: I goin for a walk.
Me: Where are you going?
ZZ: I gonna cross the street.
Me: By yourself? Aren't you scared?
ZZ: No, see ya later!



Mimi: Can I help you?
Me: Of course, with what?
Mimi: I like the groceries.
Me: You want to help me put away the groceries?
Mimi: Yesssssss.
Me: Will you be careful?
Mimi: Of course, not breakables, that's only mama and baba



Me: Don't put the washrags in your mouths. Hey stop, stop. I said don't...OK...I'm going to count to...hey SIT DOWN...I said don't put the washrags in your...really I'm going to...OK! ONE, TWO, THR....

Mimi: But mama, we're swimming puppies, woof woof!

you should already know swimming puppies absolutely have to have washrags in their mouths.

also, thanks for using proper missouri terminology. "washrag" is way better than "washcloth". waaaaay better. especially when you pronounce it "warshraig". it's more floppy and squishy and accurate than "waaashclaaath" (that's the brooklyn pronunciation).
